Speaker Bio:

Susan opened and successfully grew a legal staffing firm in Louisville for 8 years.  In 1998 she sold the business and remained with the newly formed company, Talis Group, Inc.  Today, Susan is the Director of Recruitment for Talis Group which helps local and regional companies find temporary or direct hire talent in the areas of Accounting & HR, Engineering & Manufacturing Management, Administrative & Clerical and Attorney and Legal Support.  Susan was appointed to the Board of Directors for One Southern Indiana Chamber of Commerce in 2009 and is a current member of SHRM.  Susan often speaks for local associations on a variety of employment topics as well as presenting monthly at Business First’s Grow Your Career workshops. She has also written several articles recently published in Business First on employment and career development.

                                                       CSM & CPSM Review Courses    

ISM recently announced the expansion of its Professional Credentials program to include the Certified in Supply Management™ (CSM™) designation, which debuted November 15, 2011. The CSM™ offers a certification option for those with experience in supply management and procurement who do not have a bachelor’s degree. The new CSM™ tests the same body of knowledge as the CPSM^® credential. As such, the review courses presented by PMAL are relevant for both credentials. CPSM^® and CSM™ candidates also use the same study materials to prepare for their exams. Eligibility is dependent on a candidate's educational background and work experience.
